I just saw this and couldn't believe it .Alvin Lee dies from complications from minor surgery.This was one of the really good guys and I did know him just a little better than most and he was always gracious and polite and really was not full of himself at all.I did see TYA at least 25x and only once was there any hint of a sub poor performance.68 is was to young to go. R.I.P. Alvin.

One of my favorite go to albums was/is A Space in Time. Sorry to hear of his passing.

Had a great night out watching Ten Years After in 1973 in a small town north of London called Dunstable. (We used to drop the 'D' from the name)

saw him when he toured as "ten years later" and i thought my ears were gonna bleed.
